Entrepreneurship College #7 - SDG 5: Gender Equality
Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender EqualityEvent
Every second Thursday of the month, we organize lectures around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Our guest speakers are academic experts and entrepreneurs working in the field of the SDGs. They discuss root causes, challenges, relevant theories and important stakeholders. But foremost, they talk about the role of innovation and entrepreneurship, if we want to reach the goals by 2030. So join us, go back to school and immerse yourself in knowledge for sustainability!
The Pogled u Plavo, together with Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) hosts Entrepreneurship College – SDG edition. This monthly series of lectures discusses the ins and outs of each Sustainable Development Goal from an academic point of view, and discusses how innovation and entrepreneurship can contribute to reaching the goals. We would like to invite you to our event, where Luz Martinez, economist and senior advisor Inclusive Finance and Gender at KIT Royal Tropical Institute, gives us an introduction to SDG 5: Gender Equality. How will be reach the 2030 agenda of the UN? What is the relation between finance and (wo)men empowerment? And how does this trickle through in development at large?
