Why choose the AUAS?

The AUAS is a knowledge institution

We interweave professional practice with education and research. The materials for our courses are connected to real industry issues; alongside this you will develop new professional skills. Our Bachelor's and Master’s are also future-focused, diving into developments in the field.

The AUAS is immersed in professional practice

Our lecturers are often working professionals, who teach at the AUAS alongside their industry careers. Or they conduct research in the field. The AUAS focuses on the Amsterdam metropolitan region. The city is our classroom, our place of work and an endless source of inspiration.

The AUAS works on your study success

It’s a challenge to combine work and study. You’ll receive supervision and support from a student mentor. We’re committed to your study success. Also if you’re already juggling an intense job and a busy private life.

Attend an information evening

Do you have questions about studying at the AUAS alongside your work? Visit us during an information evening or sign up for a personal intake with one of our career coaches.

Our information sessions will inspire and inform you, as you learn about the programmes and courses that AUAS has developed for professionals. During the evening, you will get practical information about enrolment, the 21+ test, and the exceptions that can be made for professionals studying with a disability or who have special personal circumstances. You can also check whether your work experience is a good fit with the study you’re interested in.

Tailored advice

Some of our programmes offer the opportunity for a personal intake. During this meeting you can ask questions and get tips in a one-to-one setting. By discussing your personal situation we can help you find the career development opportunity that’s right for you – whether you decide on a course, a part-time Bachelor's or a Master’s. Some of our programmes also offer the option to attend a trial class.

Would you like to attend an information evening or to get in touch with us?  Please visit the programme page of the degree or course you're interested in to find out more.
