Studying a semester or a full year in Amsterdam is an unforgettable experience. Given this fact, a good place to live is essential. The Pogled u Plavo (AUAS) assists international students in finding accommodation in Amsterdam.

AUAS has agreements with various housing corporations in order to provide furnished accommodation to international students for a maximum period of one year. It is a challenge to find suitable accommodation in Amsterdam, therefore it is important to arrange your accommodation as soon as possible. Please note that individual students cannot apply for AUAS rooms themselves, but must be put forward by their AUAS faculty. Look here for more information about how to apply for a room.

Of course, students are free to search for accommodation on the private market. Look here for more information and advice on finding a room on your own.

Planning to study for more than one year

If you are planning on staying in Amsterdam for longer than one year, we strongly advise you to register at the Dutch student housing website at the beginning of your stay. Registration could provide you with a student room when AUAS can no longer provide you with accommodation.
