Communication & Creative Business

The Communication (CO) & Creative Business (CB) programmes offers students the chance to improve their communication skills, learn about trends in the media world and how to be a content creator within an inspiring environment. Our department offers English taught minors. Each minor is a one-semester study programme (5 months = 30 ECTS).

Fall Semester: Students who wish to study at our institute during the 1st (fall) semester 2019-2020 need to apply before 7 May 2019. 

Spring Semester: Students who wish to study at our institute during the 2nd (spring) semester 2019-2020 need to apply before 8 October 2019.

After nomination by your home university, you will receive a link to apply in our online application system. 
You will have to submit the following documents there: 

  1. Letter of motivation in English
  2. A clear copy of your valid passport or ID
  3. IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80 test report or equivalent (If English is not your first language)
  4. Transcript of records of your home institute in English
  5. CV in English
  6. Only for students applying for the International Journalism programme: a short news article in English of max. 400 words

Students who are not studying at a partner university can apply as 'Free-mover", the tuition fee for one semester is €4000.

If you wish to come to the Netherlands to study at the Faculty of Digital Media and Creative Industries, you need to check if you need a visa or residence permit. More information about visa procedures can be found on the immigration page.

The Faculty of Digital Media and Creative Industries reserves accommodation for exchange students, which can be rented for a period of 1 or 2 semesters. More details can be found on the housing webpage.
