Exercises

Explore shows that professionals sometimes lack the skills, knowledge and attitude to deal with the healthy sexual development of children and youngsters. Accordingly, students in social work require to be taught about the different aspects of sexuality of children and young people in residential care and foster care. We have created and collected useful exercises that are designed to help lecturers when teaching about these different aspects.

The exercises are organized in 5 different themes:

1. Values, rules and regulations
2. Knowledge about sexual development
3. Sexual identity
4. Harmful Sexual behaviour
5. Dealing with sexuality with children and young people
