The last 8 years political leaders in the European Union had to improvise under time pressure during every crisis, the Euro crisis, migration crisis, anti-EU populism, Brexit and many more. Leadership and new instruments are needed to face future crises. During this summer course we focus on leadership in the EU. How are the economic and political issues in the EU resolved? How do we feel about the choices made by Mr Draghi, the President of the European Central Bank and what are their implications. If these questions have sparked your curiosity, this summer course is for you.
The programme includes a two day excursion to the European Union institutions in Brussels in order to better understand the workings of the EU institutions and to interact with European policy makers.
