Summer School

Victoria van den Doel MA

Victoria van den Doel MA is a freelance lecturer teaching at multiple AUAS degree programmes, including the AUAS Part Time Academy. She has over 15 years’ experience in education and has worked in and for many companies and organisations. She also has in-depth experience and knowledge of business as well.

Victoria teaches, develops curriculum, advises, translates, and edits for educational institutions such as the AUAS, the University of Amsterdam, the Amsterdam Regional Vocational College and the Amsterdam Police Academy. She also works for businesses that operate in the recruitment industry, marketing and advertising, the sports sector, travel industry, the arts, and real estate.

With many of these organisations Victoria was involved in the recruitment of new staff.

Her main focus in education lies on talent development. Job-hunting skills on a smaller scale and personal branding on a larger scale are the ultimate means of finding that talent which lies within and developing it to its full potential.

Victoria has been teaching in the AUAS Summer School for the last three years.

On a personal note:

“My background is both British as well as Dutch. I studied Dutch literature at the Free University of Amsterdam. I enjoy forest walks in autumn, good food, and the city of Amsterdam in all its splendour.

Having spent the early years of my life growing up in an international environment, working in a multicultural setting is not only familiar to me, but it feels like a kind of homecoming. I cannot wait to meet the new group of students, coming from far and wide to study at the 2018 Summer School.”
